Tania decided all she wanted to do at age 6 was dance! She commenced her Theatrical & Classical Training under the guidence & tuition of Mis Camille Edwards & Mr Bert Shaw. Tania gained the best Theatrical & Classical training from Miss Camille Edwards (Director/Choreographer/Dancer/ Actor/Singer: 'A Chorus Line, Beauty & the Beast, They're Playing Our Song, Sister Ella, The Don Lane Show & The Bert Newton show to name a few) & Mr Bert Shaw (Choreographer/ Dancer/Actor;The Don Lane Show, Chanel 2, GTV7, Channel 9, The Royal Command Performance & association with Rudolf Nereuve & Liza Minelli to name a few)

Her Professional career started at a mere age of 15 at the 'Royal Command Performance' for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the 2nd

Tania continued to work throughout the professional industry while completing secondary school & 'The Dance Factory' Full Time Arts Diploma. During this time Tania completed her D.F.T.A & A.O.T.D Associate Diploma & C.S.T.D Jazz 5 Award becoming an Affiliate Member

Her extensive teaching experience credits include: The Dance Factory Part Timers, Australian College of Entertainers A.C.E, Audrey Nicholls & Eve King Ballet School- Theatrical Faculty, BAPA-Jazz teacher 'University of Ballarat Arts Diploma and various Metropolitan, Primary, Seconday and Private Ballet Schools. Tania is currently guest teaching at various full time diploma schools & professional development courses throughout Victoria including Master Classes

Tania opened the doors to Attitudes Dance Studio  in 1988 with only 14 student's. the success of her students precede her with student's traveling the world performing in many musicals, cruise ships, Disney, Universal Studios & International Teaching, Modeling & Recording Contracts.         Joel Gallarde

        International Hip Hop Judge

        Joel Furentes Gallarde is the Founder, Director and Head Choreographer of TRIPLe8FuNK Dance Company which is one of the biggest Hip Hop/Street Dance Companies in Australasia.

        Joel is a graduate of The University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film, Television, Media and Spanish. He has also undergone studies in Communication, Business Management and Maori Perfo

        rming Arts. In 2004, he was awarded 'The BLUES Award' which is the highest award for student service and excellence by The University of Auckland.

        In 2009 he was also awarded 'The Best Club President' by The University of Auckland Students' association (AUSA) for his leadership with TRIPLe8FuNK. Joel Led TRIPLe8FuNK Dance Team to represent New Zealand in the 2007 World Hip Hop Championships in Los Angeles, USA and ranked 5th in the world against 36 teams worldwide. His team also performed in big International events such as Thr Boogiezone International Showcase in 2007, Tokyo Tower in 2009 and the world renowned Carnival Choreographers Ball in Sydney Australia. Joel has successfully completed a number of projects in annually organizing and producing Hip Hop Workshops, Shows and Events. He also holds a strong and active involvement in the modern day Hip Hop/Street Dance Community having taught in a number of dance studios and being well known in the Hip Hop/ Street Dance Industry.

        In 2006 Joel traveled to 5 continents to train, expand & do research on the latest Hip Hop and Funk Dance styles. From Korea, Japan, Paris, Pineapple Studios in London, Do Dat Studios in Toronto to Los Angeles, San Diego and Broadway Dance Centre in New York to name a few. Joel has Judged Hip Hop Dance Competitions and taught Hip Hop Dance Workshops in Tokyo, Philippines, USA, Argentina, Brazil and some parts of Europe and all around Australia. Joel is a sought after Judge & Judged the 2011 Australian Hip Hop Championships, also head judged the 2011 World Supremacy Battlegrounds & Hip Hop International Australia.

        Joel believes that in order to be successful in dancing, one needs to find discipline to work hard and at the same time be willing to share their knowledge, passion and enjoyment to their community.

           Nicholas Maguire


          At age 4, Nicholas began his journey towards a professional career in dance. Passionate about Contemporary & Lyrical Dance his impressive work ethic and athletic skills have seen him develop into a powerful Artist. After many years of general practice in various genres he was accepted into the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts secondary School (VCASS) in Melbourne where he studied 2010-2012. At age 17 he was awarded 1st place at the Australian Choreographic Competition for a contemporary work he developed and choreographed on 3 peers.

           After additional 2 years of full time, Nic continued his pathway into contemporary dance by participating in the Transit Dance Professional Finishing Course where he was hand selected by Artistic Director Paul Malek to be a founding member of Transit Dance Company. During this appointment he worked with Amy Hollingsworth, Two Bars of Isolation, Daniel Jaber, Under and Paul Malek, Every Inch of Me.

           Currently Nic was selected by MASTERS OF CHOREOGRAPHY'S Jennifer Peric and Milorad Peric to be part of the Beats on Pointe Australian Tour and Raise The Barre Australian Tour. Here he will work with ballet choreographer Emma Vaiano and street choreographer Phill Haddad.

          Nic is a well-rounded performer in the Melbourne dance scene working on various productions and events over the past 3 years.

          A graduate of WAAPA , Bernard's first credits were on TV in Blue Heelers and as Ernesto in the ABC/BBC co-production of Noah and Saskia. While at WAAPA Bernard also performed in THE GOODFIGHT, includingthe tour to the New York Theatre Festival. Bernard Performed in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival season of SHANE WARNE: THE MUSICAL

          Bernard performed int the Australian tour of MY FAIR LADY, The original Australian cast of JERSY BOYS as Joe Pesci and later a Frankie Valli alternative, AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN and most recently Bernard finished his tour of the Australian cast LION KING performing the roles of Timon, Pumbaa, Zazu and Ed throughout. Bernard has featured in add campaignes for Target, BUPA and RACV to name a few. Bernard has continued training over the years at the Howard Fine Acting School, Gary May Voive Studios and as a writer at AFTRS

          Elise commenced her performing arts training at Edwards & Shaw studios as a bub. Elise then went on to train al facets of performing arts at Attitudes Dance Studio till she was accepted into BAPPA now Federation University's Performing Arts Diploma. graduating with a Bachelor of Music Theatre. Elise has returned to Melbourne after touring in the amazing musicals 'Guys & Dolls' where she played Mimi the hot box chick and Understudy to Marina Prior's lead role 'Jersey Boys' & 'A funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum' as Dance Captain and cast member Musical Ensemble touring Australia.             Adrian commenced his training with Tania Attard-Fox at 4yrsof age. Training at ATTITUDES Adrian covered all facets of performing arts including Funk, Hip Hop, Jazz, Classical, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Ethnic, Drama, Acrobatics & Musical Theatre. Whilst continuing his full training at ATTITUDES Adrian completed his CSTD Level 5 Jazz awards gaining Honors Plus (95%) & Junior Gold Tap award achieving Honors (90%) . Whilst continuing his full training at ATTITUDES Adrian was accepted into the Victorian College of the Arts completing VCE & VET Dance. Adrian then went on to gain Honors in his vocational classical study of Checchetti, Intermediate.

            Whilst training at Attitudes Dance Studio Adrian was entered in neumerous competitions through out Victoria. Throughout his competition experience Adrian also gained the highest points over entire festivals throughout Regional & Metropolitan eisteddfods in Victoria receiving his group Aggregate & Grand Aggregate several Times. His Highest awarded achievements where winning 1st Place in the Lily Alison Cabaret Championship & 1st place in the Boys Only Tap Solo. Adrian achieved runner up in the Commonwealth Theatrical Cup & Commonwealth Classical Cup placing 2nd & 3rd. Adrian gained the highest points in the under 12yrs Song & Dance winning the Perpetual Trophy for both division A & B.

            Adrian is continuing to enjoy a full Professional Career traveling the world to countries such as Greece, America, Tai Pai, Korea, Japan & Dubai. Adrian's performance of the lead role of Mr. Mistofellees for 5 years & has held the longest running number of consecutive shows in the history of 'CATS' performing in 200 shows without recess.

            Adrian has taught many workshops & full time diploma students throughout Victoria. He is currently rehearsing his own Company of Professional Dancers in 'RickStix' Productions. Adrian has successfully produced 2 major company pieces 'SINS & RELEASE' which opened in Melbourne. His dream & ambition is to take his pieces and tour Australia with his amazing talented company.

              Lianne is not a stranger to the world of classical dance. Her extensive performing credits throughout Australia and International and her teaching accolades for over the past 30 years speak for themselves.

              Lianne is fully registered with The British Ballet BBO and has taught RAD classical examination students for over 15 years with a 100% pass rate in both Classical Syllabus works. Lianne is currently working in liason with our fully registered RTS RAD Classical mentors in preparing students for their graded & vocational examinations as well as performance skills.

              Lianne has 3 beautiful girls of her own who have all gone onto professional careers in dance, teaching and the performing arts. With her wealth of knowledge and experience as well as her own experience as a mother of dancers, Lianne is thrilled to be sharing and impassing her knowledge of Classical Dance to the students of Attitudes

              Diana Ricks

              Diana commenced her training with Tania Attard-Fox as soon as her little legs would let her, following in the bigger footsteps of her successful professional brothers Robert & Adrian. Training at ATTITUDES Diana covered all facets of performing arts including, Funk, Hip Hop, Jazz, Classical, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Ethnic, Drama, Acrobatics & Musical theatre. Diana also completed her RAD Classical Ballet Examinations at Attitudes Dance Studio to Intermediate gaining Distinction (92%).

              Whilst continuing her full training at ATTITUDES Diana was accepted into the Victorian College of the Arts completing VCE & VET Dance. Diana went on to complete her Advanced 2 RAD examination at VCASS gaining Distinction in her vocational classical training.

              Whilst training at Attitudes Dance Studio, Diana was entered in neumerous competitions thorough out Victoria. Throughout her competition experience Diana also gained the highest points over entire festivals throughout Regional & Metropolitan eisteddfods in Victoria receiving her group Aggregate & Grand Aggregate several Times.

              In 2009 Diana won a full time scholarship to Ministry of Dance directed by Jason Coleman. Diana then went onto audition for the 2010 season of 'So You Think You Can Dance' and made the top 50.

              In 2012 Diana made her Professional Musical debut in the sensational musical 'Wicked" touring Asia. Diana is enjoying a very successful career in the Professional industry travelling throughout Australia

              Michelle Fenech

              Little Movers Jazz

              Michelle commenced dancing at Edward & Shaw Studios & then went on to continue her training at Attitudes Dance Studio,covering all facets of the Performing Arts. Michelle also discovered Ballroom & Latin Dance training with Ultimate Dance and found she had a flair for Salsa.

              After completing her C.S.T.D & D.F.T.A Jazz exams Michelle went on to perform in many Cabaret, Corporate Launches, Charity Events & Festivals.

              Michelle is now working with the babies of ATTITUDES and is enjoying teaching & preparing them in their development for future vocational training

              Tonille commenced her dance training at a mere age of 2 & under the tuition of her Mother and is continuing her extensive Theatrical & Classical studies at Attitudes Dance Studio achieving a Professional Level.

              Tonille enjoys the musical theatre world and has had the pleasure of training under the wonderful tuition of Camille Edwards, Leah Zilberman, Elise Brennan, Rikk Coombs International & Turunga Merito in Musical Theatre/Private Vocal Training /Script Reading/Drama. In 2015 Tonille had the pleasure of performing in the USANA Australasian Health & Science Convention at the World Congress Centre Melbourne under the choreography and direction of Joel Gallarde Triple8Funk, dancing alongside numerous international artists

              Tonille has been successful in auditions for casting agents as thus and has enjoyed working as an extra on movie sets and as a commercial jingle singer for David Jones and Myers Christmas commercials

              Amelia Latham

              RTS RAD Classical Dance

              Amelia began performing at age 3 in many styles of dance as well as Musical Theatre, Drams and Singing. She has studied the Royal Academy of Dance and the Australian Teachers of Dance, Ballet Jazz and Tap to Advanced Level.

              Amelia also studied teaching with the Royal Academy of Dance and holds her Registered Teacher Status RTS. Amelia enjoys teaching Ballet, Contemporary and all other genres of the performing arts. Amelia has choreographed extensively for Eisteddfods and concert pieces, working with students of all ages.

              Amelia went on to further her credentials by training in Circus( Aerial Hoop, Tissu and Tumbling) for a number of years and holds Circus Training Australia Certificates for coaching. She Currently specializes in coaching adult Arial Ring, Trapeze and Tissu.

              Whilst teaching, training and performing Amelia is currently studying a Bachelor of Creative Arts at Latrobe University majoring in Screen and Performance.

              Amelia loves performing and has worked in a number of Crown Casino productions, music videos, theatre plays and circus performances.

              Amelia appreciates working with all her students and enjoys watching them grow and flourish, while sharing her love of the performing Arts

              Amy Wilson- Matesevac


              Amy commenced her formal training in  Theatrical & Classical dance at a very early age of 7. Whilst training at Attitudes Dance Studio Amy completed her RAD Classical Examintaions graded and her vocational Performing Arts Training in Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Song & Dance, Lyrical & Neo Classical.

              Amy became a member of the Advanced Acrobatic Team at the Fighting Lions, which she maintained for 4 years.

              Amy was also invited to perform on tour in Queensland at Movie World & Dream World as part of an elite competition team. Amy also performed in the Moomba Parade & Myer Christmas Parade for 3 consecutive years.

              In 2015 Amy completed her Acrobatic Training with the Acrobatic Dance Association. Amy is delighted to teach this wonderful acrobatic syllabus developed especially for todays dancer. Students of Attitudes will be able to partake in the Australian Acrobatic Dance Association Examination Levels through Amy's guidance and expertise

               Amy is a permanent resident dancer in the corporate entertainment group "SILK & continues to strive for perfection in the performing arts 

              Amy enjoys strengthening and teaching all facets of acrobatics to our Attitudes Dancers

               Olivia began her dance training as soon as she could walk under the tuition on her mother Allison, who successfully ran her own performing arts studio for many years

              Olivia encompassed all facets of the performing art including Acting & Singing. Olivia went on to train in all genres under the tuition of her wonderful mentor Michelle.

              Her love of Musical Theatre and Singing became apparent so she followed her passion. Olivia has won numerous awards for excellence in dance and singing over her wonderful years training, gaining numerous lead roles in amateur theatre productions including Legally Blonde.

              Olivia is a valued member of our Attitudes faculty bringing in a fresh new vibe




              Andrew Micallef



               Acrobatics/ Hip Hop Guest Teacher

              GUEST TEACHER

              Andrew began his formal Theatrical & Classical training at Attitudes Dance Studio in 1988 under the guidance of Miss Tania Attard. Andrew continued his intensive training at AttitudesDance Studio covering all facets of the performing arts including Acrobatics. His passion for tumbles, Aerial work and stunt became progressively apparent and under the tuition of Samantha Vella, artistic Director at the time to the  Watsonia WMCA gymnastic and Acrobatic Courses, Andrew continued to harness and perfect his skills.  Later on Andrew went on to gain his Certificate III in Commercial Dance & Musical Theatre at Bartuccio's Dance & Promotions Centre. Andrew  furthered his qualification in dance by gaining a Diploma in Commercial Dance & Musical Theatre at Dance World 301 Full Time Performing Arts Course.

              Andrew has performed in numerous corporate events such as 'The red Ball'- Crown Palladium; 'Melbourne Military ball' Sofitel hotel- Dancer Gymnast; P & O Cruises; Ricky Martin Back Up Dancer & Oz Opera Australian Tours.

              Andrew began his professional teaching career after graduating from Attitudes Dance Studio and is currently sought out and teaching a various metropolitan dance schools and has many students under his guidance gaining the knowledge and skill she imparts onto them.

               Chantelle commenced her formal training in Theatrical & Classical dance at a very early age. In 2009 Chantelle became a member of Attitudes Dance Studio where she expanded her performing arts training under the guidance of  Miss Tania Attard-O'Dwyer. Whilst training at Attitudes Dance Studio, Chantelle completed her RAD Classical Examintaions grade 8 gaining a Distinction. Her vocational Performing Arts Training in Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Song & Dance, Musical Theatre, Lyrical & Neo Classical have excelled and in 2014.  Chantelle won the Victorian Performing Arts Challenge, VPAC under 16 Aggregate award, gaining the highest points in her age division whilst  competing amongst 100's of other school candidates.

              In 2015 Chantelle won  the Victorian Dance Festival Scholarship as well as performing in the USANA Australasian Health & Science Convention at the World Congress Centre, Melbourne, under the choreography and direction of Joel Gallarde & Triple8Funk 

              Chantelle is a permanent resident dancer in the corporate entertainment group "SILK" .

              In 2015 Chantelle completed her Acrobatic Training with the Acrobatic Dance Association & is currently assisting  in developing the students of Attitudes in their acrobatics classes Australian through Amy's guidance and expertise.

               Assistant Teacher  


              Tristan commenced her formal training in Theatrical & Classical Dance at a very early age of 5,  training in all facets of the performing arts. Whilst training at Attitudes Dance Studio, Tristan completed her RAD Classical Examinations graded  gaining a Distinction & her RAD Intermediate once  again gaining a Distinction.  Her Vocational Performing Arts Training in Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Song & Dance, Musical Theatre, Lyrical & Neo Classical have givenr Tristen an edge in becoming a triple threat in the industry.

              Tristan has performed in many battle of the bands as lead vocalist as well as performing  in the Mamas & Papas Tribute show as a dancer for the M.S society charity events 

              In 2011 Tristan was proud to receive  the Attitudes Dance Studio Scholarship under the guidance & mentor of  Miss Tania Attard- O'Dwyer 

              Tristan is a permanent resident dancer in the corporate entertainment group "SILK" .

              Tristan, under the guidance  & expertise of Amy Wilson- Matesevac is currently assisting in developing the students of Attitudes in their acrobatics classes. Tristan is also assisting our highly qualified & experienced R.A.D teachers in imparting knowledge & skill in classical dance.
